Black coffee accepts the best dance/electronic album award for subconsciously at 2022 grammy. This is black coffee’s first ever grammy award and marking it the first time a producer from South Africa has ever won or been nominated for this category.

Having his first born by his side while accepting his award, he thanked everyone he worked with on the album mentioning Pharrell and David Guetta. also sending love and thanks to his family back in South Africa. Social media has been flooding with love from his people back home.
