South African Independent label and leading creative music marketing agency, Vth Season, has started the new decade on a high note. The Radiomonitor Top 100 Chart for South African Artists released this past Friday revealed 10 singles from Vth Season artists; a magnificent feat for an independent label.

Taking the number #1 spot for the single with the most reach on radio currently (also the first number #1 Hip Hop track of the new decade) is AKA’s F.R.E.E featuring Riky Rick and DJ Tira; Eastern Cape’s Voice of Modern Afro Soul Ami Faku has an outstanding 7 singles on the chart – 4 solo tracks (3 off IMALI debut album) and 3 features for songs: Inde Lendlela, Ubuhle Bakho, Imali, Love Drunk, Into Ingawe, Ndiyeke, Ungowam: and Afro Pop musician Manu WorldStar’s Rent also features in the Top 100.

Vth Season’s feature of 10 singles in the Top 100 speaks volumes to their incredible A&R work and puts them at the forefront of independent labels in the country releasing music across multiple genres namely: Hip Hop, Pop, Deep House, Afro Pop, Afro Soul and Afro House.
