Prince Of RnB Jay Claude Releases New Single Featuring Stilo Magolide
The self-crowned “Fresh Prince Of RnB”, or as he refers to himself, “The RnBeing”; Jay Claude, is an ambitious and impressively eccentric South African vocalist, rapper and songwriter. With his creativity rooted in RnB and Hip Hop music, Jay Claude possesses miscellaneous talent and vocal range that sets him apart from other acts. Born in Johannesburg, and raised around music in the south of Italy and California, with his father as a musical director and mother as a performing singer, he took to music from a tender age.
To kick start his music career, Jay Claude collaborated with American rapper T-YY on a record titled “Things You Do” which hit 1 million streams on Soundcloud. He further collaborated with numerous South African hip hop royalty acts such as reputable award nominated producers Co Kayn and Tru Hitz, Stilo Magolide, Jimmy Wiz, Big Star, Stogie T (Tumi), DJ Speedsta and Zakwe on his current hit single “Roots” featuring Stogie T. In May 2018, he released his first compilation titled “The Street Tape” in collaboration with producers, Street Carnivore and Tru Hitz.
With a successful introduction into the music scene, he built an impressive repertoire and a continuously growing fan base. 2019 serves as the year he debuts as a solo act. “I feel like it’s time the people get to know Jay Claude; what I am about and just expressing myself through music in hopes that I get the love back.”
Serving as a prelude to his solo career and as a lead single off his upcoming EP; Jay Claude, takes us on a road trip down memory lane with this nostalgic 90’s era themed RnB and Hip Hop summer jam “90’s Jump Off”. On the record he features Stilo Magolide and tags Tru Hitz on production. “This record is something people will feel familiar with but yet is something they haven’t heard. Their ears be buggin’! “.
Whether a nostalgic throwback ride to memory lane or an actual road trip, this is a must be part of the playlist on cue for the aux.
