Relebogile Mabotja shines at the 10th annual World Choir Games

Multi-talented, award-winning actress, singer, presenter, musical director, producer, radio host and MC, Relebogile Mabotja, did a stellar job as MC at the opening ceremony of the 10th annual World Choir Games this past Wednesday in Pretoria.

The World Choir Games are the world’s largest choir celebration that brings together choirs from all over the world. 60 countries were represented at the spectacular opening ceremony.

The prestigious ceremony was attended by high profile guests such as the Mayor of Pretoria, Mr Solly Mahlangu; Minister of Sports and Recreation, Ms Thokozile Xasa; and renowned Ndebele artist and international icon, Dr Esther Mahlangu just to name a few.

“Music has always been a part of my life. I’m a former choir singer since an early age, and some of my choir conductors were in attendance on Wednesday. It was a full circle moment for me. MC’ing this event in Tshwane, the city that I was born and raised in was pure magic! The crowd was just amazing!” shares Relebogile Mabotja.
